Grigoriy Dobrygin was born on February 17, 1986 in the Ribachiy village (now Vilyuchinsk), near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
After graduating from the elementary
school, he entered the Moscow State Academy of Choreography at the Bolshoi
Theater, and then spent a year in the Moscow Art Theater School. But only the GITIS (Russian University of Theatre
Arts) became his main alma mater; from the first time Gregoriy studied at the acting
faculty, and then he studied at the directing department (Oleg Kudryashov`s
Grigoriy Dobrygin is the best known for his actor`s work in the movie, for which he earned many prestigious awards:
· 2010 - "Silver Bear" award of the Berlin Film Festival in the category "The Best Actor" in the film "How I spent this Summer"
· 2010 - "White Elephant" award of The Film Critics Guild in the category "The Best Actor" in the film "How I spent this Summer"
· 2011 – the special prize of "Golden Eagle -
2011" award in the nomination "The Future Depends on You" - for
the sharp rise in the profession.
He made his debut as a film director in 2013. His feature short "Treason" received a diploma of The Film Critics Guild, and he was awarded as the winner at the festival "Kinotavr" (with the words "For the unconditional love to himself and brilliant self-irony ").
Grigoriy Dobrygin announced himself as a theater director by representing a play "Lackey room" in The Mayakovsky Theater in 2013.
